The FL model was given a new frame in 1958. This frame included a
rear swing-arm suspended by a pair of coil-over-shock suspension units.
In honor of this fully suspended chassis, the FL's model name was
changed from Hydra-Glide to Duo-Glide.The 1964 model had few significant
changes. A new two-tone tank panel encompassed the tank emblem. An
improved front chain oiler system was installed along with a new oil
pressure switch. The ignition key was now different from the head stock
lock key. A larger ground contact area was applied to the Duo-Glide
jiffy stand. Not a lot to write home about. The blockbuster was in the
